Frequently Asked Questions Relating to Our Childrens Gift Ideas

Is there something puzzling you about the Children Gift Ideas service? Some question that remains unanswered? We've gathered a list of our most frequently asked questions to help you out with children gift ideas. If you still can't find the answer or information on any of our childrens gifts & toys, email us and we'll get right on it.
  1. Can I have the gift for a child delivered to them rather than to me?
    We know children love to receive something through the post, however due to some unscrupulous fraudsters we are unable to offer this service.  Delivery must be made to wherever the card used to make the gift purchase is registered.
  2. I would like to order multiple children's gifts, can I have them delivered to several different addresses?
    We can only have one delivery address per order.  You can place several orders but postage will be due for each different delivery address.
  3. Part of my gift order is out of stock.  Will I have to pay further postage when it is available and sent separately?
    No.  It is our policy to only charge once per order received, even if we have to ship it to you in separate parcels.
  4. I dislike providing my credit cards details online, even if it is secure.  Is there some other way I can pay for my gift for a child?
    Yes of course.  We love to chat, so give us a call on 0800 1488 365 and we'll take your order over the phone.
  5. What happens if I am out when the postman tries to deliver the children's gift?
    The postman or courier will leave a card telling you delivery has been attempted.  Depending on the postal service used at the time of placing your order this means you will either have to give the number a call to arrange a re-delivery or visit your local sorting office to collect the item.
  6. If I pay for Next Day Delivery, when will I receive the gift?
    Next Day Delivery service operates Monday to Friday.  Therefore if you opt for Next Day Delivery on a Friday it will be received by 1pm on a Monday, not the Saturday.  It is important to note that orders received after 2pm are not dealt with until the following working day, therefore you could place an order for a gift for a child on a Friday at 2.15pm but this will not be dealt with until Monday and you would receive it on a Tuesday.
  7. I can't afford Next Day Delivery for my gift.  How long does standard post take?
    Royal Mail advises that parcels can take between 2 and 5 days to reach the recipient.
  8. Money is a little tight at the moment, can I use a coupon to reduce the cost of my purchase?
    We do occasionally issue voucher codes allowing a reduction in the price of a gift for a child.  If you happen to come across one, by all means use it to reduce your costs.
  9. I've ordered a gift but I've made a mistake.  What can I do?
    Quick, give us a call on 0800 1488 365.  Provided we haven't already dealt with your order we should be able to help you.
  10. The person receiving my gift is unwell, will the card accompanying the gift reflect this?
    We use a card displaying images from our website.  Inside the card is blank for your own message.  We believe our card can be used as a Get Well Soon card, a Happy Birthday card, a Well Done card, a Christmas card and any other circumstance.
  11. How can I tell if you have received my order correctly?
    We will always issue you with an email confirming receipt of your order.  If you haven't received this email please give us a call so we can double check.
  12. How do I cancel an order?
    If for some reason you decide to cancel an order, please give us a call on 0800 1488 365.  Providing we haven't already dispatched your child gift we can refund your card and cancel the purchase.  If the gift has already been dispatched you will have to follow our returns policy.
  13. My child gift box has been delivered but it doesn't contain the same items as was displayed.
    We are constantly seeking new items to put into our gift boxes for children. Unfortunately due to circumstances outside of our control we may not be able to send the child gift box containing exactly what was displayed at the time of your order. We reserve the right to replace items with something of equal or higher value.
  14. I'm not happy with the child gift box or children's gift you delivered.
    We want all our customers to be 100% satisfied with the children's gift or gift box they have purchased. If you are not satisfied with the gift, please return it to us in an unused condition stating why you were dissatisfied and we will give you a full refund.  Please be advised that we require you to obtain proof of posting.
  15. I see you accept credit cards? I don't have one, is there any other method I can use to pay for a children's gift?
    Of course. Credit card is the most common method of payment, however we do appreciate that not everyone is happy using this method. You may pay by cheque or postal order or direct to our bank account. Simply email us your order and your chosen method of payment. Once we have received payment and it has cleared (cheque only) your child's gift will be dispatched. Please note there will be a delay in receiving your children's gifts if you pay by cheque.
  16. How do I know my credit card details are secure?
    All orders are taken by Barclaycard Merchant Services via a SSL secure server so your credit/debit card details are totally safe. We do not even see your card details. We accept all major credit and debit cards: Mastercard / Visa / Switch / Delta / Solo (no Electron)
  17. My children's gift box has arrived but it is in a terrible state.
    Occasionally during the postal process things can get damaged. However please be aware that the box itself is only there to protect the gifts you have purchased. If the gifts inside the box are in perfect condition then we are happy. If your children's gifts are damaged in any way, simply send the gift box back to us and we will of course replace it. Please ensure you obtain a proof of posting certificate as we cannot be held liable if your gift box should go missing in the post and proof of posting has not been obtained.
  18. I ordered my children's gift 10 days ago, where is it?
    This isn't good. The children's gift should reach you within 5 days, if it hasn't been received by then we will need to investigate further.
  19. If I opt for next day delivery but today is Friday, when will it be delivered?
    Next day delivery paid for on a Friday will be received by the recipient on the following working day - usually a Monday.  This is provided the gift for a child was ordered by 2pm.  Orders received after 2pm will be processed the following working day.  Working days are Monday to Friday.
  20. I have ordered a gift for a child rather than a children's gift box, will you provide gift wrapping?
    All our children's gifts are beautifully wrapped in either pink wrapping or blue wrapping paper with a lovely ribbon to make them look extra pretty.  All this for free!  If your chosen gift comes in its own gift box we don't wrap these as the gift boxes themselves are extra pretty.  Sometimes larger items are dispatched direct from the manufacturer therefore we cannot guarantee if they will use gift wrapping.
